
The preschoolers dug into pumpkins to learn about measurement, weight, buoyancy, and the life cycle of plants. They measured and described them then created a Jack O Lantern which we will leave to rot all year in a jar! So fun to see the natural process of decomposition up close!

1st grade enjoyed exploring with light again today. We learned that in order to see we need light!

CAL Elementary was blessed with a visit from Governor Reynolds today! The students and their teachers were able to show off all of their hard work in STEM education! Way to go CAL Elementary staff and students!

Axolotl's breath with their pink gills! CAL staff decided to dress-up like Lola, our very own axolotl who lives in an aquarium in CAL's cell. Looking good upper grade teachers!!

Kinders designed masks for the kinderbots! Then they practiced coding their bots to move from house to house! Their kinderbots were trick or treating!





More 3rd grade Dracula fun! P.B.I.S. celebration...





Lately, 3rd grade has been scoring 4's and 5's on our class "effort-meter." We celebrated with Dracula Donut Dash games, and Dracula donuts, of course!
