Dezi working hard!
We were given a box of nice apples so 4th grade made an apple crisp this morning! They are excited to taste test after lunch! They have been learning about food preservation by pioneers as part of a social studies unit so this afternoon they plan to put together some freezer apple pie filling to use later in the year. They were quick to point out that pioneers did not have the freezer option like we do today!

3rd grade has been explored balanced and unbalanced forces in science and innovation club! Students worked with partners to create a mini ping pong ball run with Legos. Then used force (pushes and pulls) to move their ping pong balls through. Next students had to work together to connect all of their mini runs. Today was testing day! Students worked with a partner to move a ping pong ball through the run! Students made predictions about the ball’s movement. They also made adjustments as a class to improve the run! It was aMAZing!
